Kebur’s Legendary Sisig and Pita Pie!

It was more than two years ago when my brother’s friend, Niño, took us to Kebur to let us have a taste of one of the best sizzling sisig ever! After that, I’ve always invited friends to dine here as well, and the place hasn’t let me down even once. You should definitely try this place out if you’re quite the sisig aficionado.

Crispy Sisig – 95 PHP per full plate

Located at 20th Avenue in Cubao, Quezon City, you’ll see the street intersect with the more famous Aurora and P. Tuazon street. It’s kind of hard to find at first, but here’s a picture of the store front for visual reference:

The place and ambiance don’t give a flashy feel, and can be considered to be more of a carinderia-type, but that’s what also makes it comfy and homey- office workers, city locals and dining enthusiasts mostly go here for their famous crispy sisig and pita pie. The owner (wearing yellow in the photo below) recommended us to try their dinakdakan, as he explains it’s also one of their bestsellers.

Their pita pie, is a pita bread cut in eight slices, smothered with melted cheese, ground beef and onion bits. Flood it with their hot sauce and you’re gonna be in pita pizza heaven with just 40 pesos!

I’m pretty sure they have other awesome and yummy dishes as well: tapsilog, shawarma, burrito, beef tapa etc., but me and my friends have been stuck with the crispy sisig (95 PHP) + pita pie (40 PHP) + 2 rice (I forgot haha) + mountain dew (15 PHP) combination ever since. Total damage for those per person would be around 170 pesos- just formalities for one of the best meals ever! What’s more, they also have cheap booze!

In Kebur, it’s always gonna be at least one sizzling sisig plate per person! :p
