Manila Wings at Lilac, Marikina!
It’s good that chicken wings are getting their fair share of the spotlight in the industry all over Manila- and of course if that’s the case, then Marikina’s Lilac is sure to participate in the trend! Well, there are a bunch of wings places already in the area, but still there’s always room for more. Don’t let the numbers fool you since Manila Wings has their great and unique food to offer!
Directions: Here’s a map. Just click and zoom out for further landmark references on how to get there. On the stretch of Lilac, Manila Wings is nearer on the other end opposite so Antipolo’s Soliven, so it’s definitely past Crazy Katsu but before the entrance of Rancho 4.
You can hang out here for a good lunch, dinner, merienda or just hang out with friends along with some booze and snacks. The place is clean and cozy with its pseudo-American Diner-style theme with old-school Filipino movie posters hanging about. The area can house about nine groups of four people. I saw a stairs but I’m not quite sure whether they’ve expanded their dining area on the second floor yet.
Now for the food review! Actually, as far as chicken wings go, theirs is just okay- good but not great. The wings we had had coating that were too crunchy-brittle for us, and a bit more little and expensive compared to others. If you’re craving for wings, I’d rather you go to Crazy Chicken that’s just a few meters away.
But, let me repeat- BUT! What I will go back here for is their Bacon Mushroom Melt which I oh-so-loved. Big tasty patty, and VERY generous on the bacon and cheese. Just look at the picture. It was literally heaven on my plate. And James’ comment on the Salpilog were all praises as well. Big serving, uber tasty!
I hope our take on the wings won’t stop you from coming here- their other food are awesome. Lots of choices in the menu we haven’t tried but looked yummy as well- I might have a take at them next time. But I swear- try the burger. Anyway, here are the photos of what we ordered!
6 Pcs. Sili Wings – P179
Bacon Mushroom Melt Burger – P210
Salpilog – P169
Condiments: Mustard, Ketchup, Caramba Chili Rojo

I’ll still be biased with Crazy Chicken, unless Manila Wings have weirder flavors. hehehe. :)
Bakit ganun? Buti walang nag dedemanda.
Hi! Just a heads up. Some parts of this blog were plagiarized by someone. He has also plagiarized other bloggers. https://macoypagong.wordpress.com/2015/04/24/manila-wings/
