Hebrews Cebu: Free Wifi Hotspot
I’ve been in Cebu for over a week now. Considering that we don’t have internet connection nor do we cook food often in the house, our expenses are spiking. But thanks to a certain Hebrews Cafe and some other places (which I’ll blog next), I get to satisfy my free wifi + power outlet for laptop needs without doing much damage to my shallow pockets.
Hebrews cafe is located at Skyrise 3 building within I.T. Park. Just go straight ahead after the main entrance to the park and you’ll see it on the farther left side. You won’t miss it. Other establishments nearby include Bo’s Coffee and Da Vinci’s Pizza. Standing right in front is Tech Bar.
Just by looking outside, you can already see how cozy and comfy the place is, though one would probably expect an expensive menu. Surprisingly, the prices are just so-so. The have the usual hot & cold, coffee & tea drinks (Theirs start at 55 PHP) as well as pastries (25 PHP for palm-sized choco chip cookie! 90 PHP for blueberry cheesecake).
They also serve native breakfast meals (longganisa / tapa / sausage with garlic rice, 2 eggs and bottomless iced tea) for a decent belly-filling price of 100 PHP. There are also various dishes of pasta (120+ PHP).
I’m currently on my 4th consecutive day of crashing this place. I love how quiet and ambient the place is – how only a few people patronize the place, thus always having available tables – and how there are at least 2 power outlets available per table. I also love the free, fast and constant wifi – the sofas and pillows – and I definitely love how accessible I.T. Park is from our place! Less than 5 minutes jeepney ride!
My favorite spot
The downside though for me is that it closes exactly at midnight. And when alone, you can’t just go carelessly to the restroom. You never know when someone’s up to no good to your goodies.

I would definitely continue hanging here in the upcoming days for both work and leisure. Viva La Hebrews!

I’ve been going to Hebrews for their breakfast meal, and yummy crepes almost everyday last summer when my internet connection at home had problems. (it was damn Globe now I’m with PLDT DSL love it!) Hebrews is certainly a wifi heaven!
Been also having problems with Globe (and Smart at that) DSL, and also switched to PLDT DSL and have been satisfied since :D I’m always for their breakfast meals, but I’ll try their crepes the next time I’m around Cebu! Btw, is Hebrews open again already? The 2 weeks I last went to Cebu, it was kind of under construction or something.
