Fuze Chinese Resto-Lounge!
That moment when you decide not to eat at a new restaurant because it looks too classy and expensive- that’s pretty much what happened to me when I first saw Fuze Resto-Lounge in Antipolo. The place just looked too heavy on the wallet with its minimalistic design and sleek interiors! Well, that was the case until James told me otherwise- that the food there were delicious and totally affordable. And he was right!
This is where we had dinner today– sister went home for a few days and mom wanted to eat somewhere new, so I suggested we finally try this Fuze I’ve always been seeing when going to my friends’ houses in Marikina.
Located along Soliven St., the same street where the Antipolo-Marikina border connects it to Lilac St. If you’ve read my other food blogs, or if you are familiar with Tamagoya Ramen House, you’re in the right track.
They have a whole separate lot for parking so no need to worry about parking space. The security guard will guide you when parking, and the humble and hospitable waiters and waitresses will greet you as you approach the entrance. Fuze, when open, is completely transparent from the outside because of its glass walls- exposing the minimalistic red design and sleek interior I’ve been telling you about. Their seats are nice and comfy while the tables are sturdy marble-hard. It’s only a bit cramped compared to other Chinese family restaurants.
One thing we noticed is that the tables cannot be moved because each one has a shabu-shabu cookery installed so big groups would either decide to be cramped into one small table or eat at separate ones. Anyway, it’s not that big of an issue that cannot be remedied. Their delicious food matters more!
The menu was similar to your average Chinese family restaurants so we ordered our favorite counterparts- little did we know that despite their cheaper prices versus our favorites King Bee and Yang Chow, they have more servings as well! Delicious? Definitely! My mom and sister who were pretty sensitive when it comes to food taste vs. price vs. location were quite delighted, me included. Try it out for yourself to see!
So here’s the gist of what we ordered and their corresponding prices:
Corn Soup (For Five) – 150 PHP
Yang Chow Fried Rice (For Four) – 200 PHP
Fresh Shrimp & White Egg – 220 PHP
Spareribs w/ Tausi Dimsum – 80 PHP
Chicken Feet w/ Chili Dimsum – 70 PHP
They have a lounge on the 2nd floor complete with dim ambient lights, comfy sofa seats, liquor bar and a performing acoustic band. After that scrumptious dinner, you can just come up here to have some R&R!

They also have an ongoing promo until January with unlimited dimsum and iced tea for only 299 PHP when you order congee or noodle soup! They also have a 499 PHP promo of one bucket of beer plus two food dishes.
We haven’t tried this yet (maybe next time), but here’s their shabu-shabu menu:
I also took a screenshot of their menu so you can see what else they offer:

everything’s yummy! whee!
Akala ko rin mahal. Buti na lang binasa ko ‘to, makapunta nga :D
we ate last june 3, 2015. we were disgusted this time because when we ate there 2 times before, the food was good and the service is okay that is why we went back. this time – there was no coca cola, no sprite, no root beer as our alternate drinks. the dimsum were served cold and were only heated when we complained. some of the food we wanted which were in the menu were not available so i told the waitress that they better close shop. the shrimp dish we ordered was served when we are almost through eating so it was given for free. and we were only 3 tables being served!!
we won’t go back!!
