Being the nocturnal creatures that we are, my siblings and I always crawl out of our den on the wee hours of the morning to look for some grub. Given the limited options of still-open establishments that we have to choose from, we’d almost always end up in Mcdonald’s, Burger Machine and 7-11.
But hey, there’s a new place in town! The 24/7 Tapsilog Avenue just opened recently in Marikina, and it’s definitely gonna be one of our midnight snack spots!
Given the fastfood chain’s name, expect the traditional combination of ‘-silog’ meals. Meaning, sinangag (fried rice) with itlog (egg) and meat (which would depend on the name e.g. Tapsilog – tapa or cured beef.) They have 10 varieties of main dishes to choose from, including the usual Tapsilog, Longsilog, Hotsilog and more. Each meal costs 45PHP. Not bad! Order up two or three of those, with free soup and softdrinks for 15PHP and you’re all set!
